Is the machinery new or used?

Unless specifically stated otherwise, all machinery offered for sale is used. Equipment may show signs of previous use, wear, repair or modification.

Can I inspect machinery before purchasing?

Yes. We strongly encourage buyers to inspect machinery before completing a purchase. Inspections can be carried out in person or, where appropriate, through detailed photographs and videos provided online.

How accurate are the machinery descriptions?

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that descriptions, specifications, photographs and recorded operating hours are accurate. However, all information is provided in good faith and should be independently verified by the buyer before purchasing.

Pricing and Payment

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Unless stated otherwise, all advertised prices exclude VAT and any other applicable taxes. VAT will be added where required by law.

Do you accept deposits?

Yes. We may accept a deposit to reserve a machine. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, reservation deposits are non-refundable.

What payment methods do you accept?

We typically accept payment by bank transfer, Faster Payments and international bank transfer. Please contact us if you would like to discuss an alternative payment method.

When is payment due?

Full payment must be received in cleared funds before machinery is released for collection or transportation, unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing.

Collection and Delivery

Do you offer delivery?

The buyer is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of collection and delivery. We may be able to assist with coordinating arrangements where possible, but all transportation remains the buyer’s responsibility.

Who is responsible for loading?

Where we provide loading assistance, it is undertaken at the buyer’s risk. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the transport vehicle is suitable for the machinery and complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

When does ownership transfer?

Ownership of the machinery remains with us until full payment has been received in cleared funds. Risk passes to the buyer upon collection, loading or delivery, depending on the sale terms agreed in writing.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the machinery complies with all relevant local laws, safety standards, import requirements and regulations. We cannot guarantee compliance outside the country in which the machinery is sold.

Unless expressly confirmed in writing, all machinery is sold on an “as seen” and “as inspected” basis without warranty. Any warranty provided will be clearly stated and agreed before purchase.

What does “sold as seen” mean?

“Sold as seen” means that the buyer accepts the machinery in its current condition after inspecting it or having been given a reasonable opportunity to do so. Buyers should satisfy themselves that the machinery’s condition, specification and suitability meet their requirements before purchasing.
